We are ready to book for the 2025 halfway Run August 1-3, 2025.
We are booking at the Diamond Lake Resort in Oregon.
Please start your bookings NOW!
Some of you may remember there was a lunch stop there on the 2017 Halfway.
Accommodations:
There are several options to stay.
Motel rooms, Chalet type cabins and RV and Camping spaces
The Chalet style may accommodate more than 1 couple if you wish to double up.
The RV space is 3 miles down the road and adjacent to the main part of the resort but an easy bike ride around by road or short bicycle ride or walk thru the campsite.

I am not sure about motel rooms if they have 2 beds , but you can check.

Halfway Itinerary:
Friday afternoon Mixer: Diamond Lake resort lodge ~ upstairs. Approx. 4 PM Saturday morning 9 AM: OMC and GVMC ride, route courtesy of John Taylor Saturday Evening: Dinner and entertainment at 5 PM ish Upstairs in the lodge. Sunday morning ride home..

Event Comments: 2025 OMC/GVMC Halfway Run Destination : Diamond Lake Oregon. When: August 1-3rd 2025.
A total of about 45 riders and members from both clubs arrived at Diamond Lake resort for a Friday August 1st at 4 PM Meet n Greet in the meeting room upstairs.
Saturday morning saw 15 or so riders head for Roseburg on a circle loop stopping at a brew house for lunch.
On their return the 2 clubs faced off with a sailboat race. After the only defeat in 2019 to OMC, The GVMC regained the title in 2025.
Later that Saturday afternoon at 5PM all assembled upstairs in the conference room for a meal of Beef and Chicken with the usual veggies etc. The meal was followed by some light entertainment put on by the GVMC and a show of friendship.
Sunday saw many leaving very early for their long drive or ride home.
Next event: tentatively scheduled for Diamond lake in 2027.
